As part of the Skyridge development in Worongary, an effective acoustic solution was required along the estate’s main internal roadway, where residential backyards faced directly onto passing traffic. The barrier needed to reduce noise impact for adjoining homes while maintaining a visually appealing streetscape through the heart of the estate. The project called for high-performance acoustic fencing capable of blending functionality with quality design. FBF was engaged as the TMR-registered installer to supply and construct the barrier system.

FBF supplied and installed the Acoustic Sound Barrier, using ModularWalls proprietary Acoustimax 75mm panel and post system. The posts were designed to integrate with the retaining wall brackets, securing the panels tightly once installed. This method ensured a robust, precise, and visually consistent finish along the estate boundary.

The project required close coordination with the client, engineers, and the onsite construction team to ensure the barrier was delivered on time and to specification. Careful attention was given to panel alignment and finish, ensuring the acoustic fence not only met noise mitigation requirements but also complemented the aesthetic vision of the Skyridge development.
